Hello Everyone!
My name is Alexandra and I am a relatively new Speech and Language Pathologist working in the public schools in the New England area. I am the Preschool SLP at the elementary school I work out and am loving it!
I began following blogs when I was in graduate school and, at that time, very few blogs existed that were intended specifically for speech and language pathologists. I instantly became hooked. I loved feeling connected with other SLP's out there working in the school setting. I was thirsty for more ideas, materials, and advice from other professionals in this field. Those blogs really motivated me to be creative and engaging when developing my lessons for therapy. I am now very excited to be publishing my very own blog to share ideas, materials, and other useful information that I have collected over the years!
On a side note, during my free time I enjoy reading books, painting, and spending time with my friends and family! I also live very close to the beach, so during my summer vacations (the perks of working in the schools), that's the first place you'll find me!
